“Luck reading out due to 3 disconnects and laaaaag.

A fun game against a fun coach. I thought I was going to really struggle with only one player with Tackle on my team, but my boys took the few opponents they could hit each turn to town without needing tackle.

First half I scored without stalling too long and gave my opponent 4? turns to reply which he easily did (I scored on my turn 5 I think).

Second half, my opponent scored, and then my cage rolled upfield slowly. By the time I got to about 2 turns from scoring, the game situation looked very much like a draw as it was going to be extremely hard for me to steal the ball as well as score on the next kick off due to his fast and agile players.

So I slowed it right down, and set up a Black Orc Blocker TD heh.

With the scores tied at 2-2, my opponent had a chance to level the score with a chain pushback and a few dodges (3 x 3+) but didn't set up correctly to push my LOS guy into the right spot to then push into his Catcher and the match was a draw.

A fun game against a fun coach. The lag was a bit shocking, as was his luck with the injuries. To have 3 RIPs to 2 BHs sucks big time. It would have been 3 RIPS and 3 BHs but the game disconnected again just after the injury roll heh. It didn't affect the game so I didn't mind the loss of 2 SPP.

I knew taking on this game that I would struggle to win and at best draw, but damn, these Orcs never get a game. It was well worth it though as my opponent was a fun coach to play against.
