“The Nightcrawlwes came to the pitch with their hopes, and ugly little heads, held high. It was a perfect day for a game of Blood Bowl. The last pep-talk from the Coach got the players excited and anxious to get on the field and show them pesky elves hoe we rats do it. With the words of the coach still ringing in the little vermins head, the game began. And what a start for the Nightcrawlers. Managed to flood the elves half with rats, and score in turn two. Then after the next kick off, the Nightcrawlwers caught the Pot Smokerss of guard, and stole the ball before they could get off their feet. The Elves as proud as they are took little notice of being behind, and managed to score one TD in the 1st half, while the dirty little rats also scored again. 3-1 after 1st half! But at a cost the Nightcrawlers had their biggest and badest Stormvermin KO'ed, and this should prove to be very costly. As everythig was going smoothly the coach didn't find it necessary to give the players another encouraging talk befor 2nd half.. And what a fatal mistake! Tha rats was unable to do anything right. And eventhoug they got the ball from the Smokerss in their 1st drive... They failed to keep it. And all of the spirit from the 1st half was clearly gone. The coach could only stand on the side line and see the team fail one pass, block, blitz and go for it after the other. And as the sun set over the stadium the rats was beaten to a pulp by the Elves.... A sad sad day for the rats, that started so good and ended in utter failure.
