A brutal game played out in the rain. The Cadavers started in offence and ran the ball forwards. However the Dwarves were unusually agile (Dodgers) as well as difficult to force back (stand firm).
Eventually, the Cadavers offered up a 1 dice Blitz (with 4 GFI) and the Dwarves got a knockdown (50% after the 4 GFIs). The ball scattered and bounced around off first Dwarf hands and then a Zombie who caught it!
The Dwarfs mobbed up on the Zombie who was too far to score with time running low, but the Cadavers used a chainpush to move him into scoring range, and he made his dodge to take a 1-0 lead.
Second half, the Ground and Iron started the half by removing two players (one with a foul). Players from the Cadavers continued to get injured or KOd and near the end it was 10 Dwarves vs 6 Cadavers as the Necro team could do nothing right (dodges failed constantly) whilst they were bashed to oblivion.
However, they were still in it with a slim chance as the Dwarves had not advanced the ball very far at game end and the Cadavers were able to lay some tackle zones on the ball carrier with their Flesh Golems two turns in a row and the pressure was too much and the ball was dropped on a failed pass attempt with no RR lelft.

What a hard game that was. Firstly, 6 casualties suffered compared to none, and I failed to Regen 5 out of 6, very rough (probablily = 5/32) and the second half was very long and drawn out with most of my turns lasting under a minute whilst my opponent took his time against an outnumbered and bashed up team.
However, in the end it came down to nerves, and my opponent burnt a crucial RR trying to buy a Pow on two dice when there was another player left to block. This left no reroll for a 3+ dodge, or 4+ hand off plus 2 GFI to tie the match (if he powed me, he would not have to dodge, but 3+ dodge with RR = 88.88% success, whereas 2 dice block vs Stand Firm is 80.25% success so a RR was better saved for the dodge attempt anyway).
