“The final score in this game didn't do justice to Homo Homini Deus.
The Rats started with 11vs10 and kicked, with the elves securing the ball and not taking long to KO one of the rats to even the numbers. However the rats line was holding well, not allowing the elves a path to goal, with the gutters huge movement constantly worrying the elves about the safety of the ball. With neither side having tackle, luck taking down the blodgers was going to be critical.
The gutters with some nice doging managed to hit the blodge ball carrier, using a 1-dice block with re-roll they took him down, Filthy Rodent BH him! Lucky. A fight on the sidelines took placed for the ball and the Rats then made a possible mistake knocking the ball carrier out deep into the 2nd half. With their Rat Ogre not having moved for many turns, only the Storm Vermin Vanguard Trishal was left to move when the ball landed right next to an elf in mid pitch. Unless Vanguard Trishal could pull of something special, the elves would score for sure. Without a re-roll, he dodged out of a tackle zone, picked up the ball in a tackle zone, dodged again and threw a pass to a waiting rat who caught it!
Surely the play of the game.
The elves defended mightily, but in the end Filthy Rat scored.
Filthy Rodent caused the only other casualty of the game, meaning that the two casualties in the game were both caused by a Gutter Runner! Surely some kind of record.
With 3 players down, the elves fought bravely but with their luck being fairly ordinary at times, they just couldn't score.
Bad luck coach Brunzum, very unlucky not to score int he first half which would have made the game close. Look forward to rematch, you play the game in a great spirit.
Only bad news was that Filthy Rat picked up his third skill, to become a one-turner.........and aged with a niggle! Dammit, the other Rats sensing his weakness ended his life before he could cost the team victory on the park. These Rats don't tolerate weakness. He was qucikly replaced by a new Rat.....”
