“Another test of will for the Stoppers, and it is with heavy hearts indeed that we repaired to the dressing rooms after the game. Not so much over the lost match, but for our dear friend Nori Thunderstone, who died tragically in the opening minutes of the game, fallen to a ravenous werewolf. It all happened so quickly, and the werewolf's rush was so fierce, that there was nothing to be done, it would've been a waste of the apothecary's limited resources.
The cursed things started on a fierce offense, and took the lead about halfway through first period. We ended the first half with the new Runner, Regin Silverheel, scoring the equalizer, and it seemed the boys had found a good blocking technique against the stiffs.
The second half began with our boys on the attack, and despite some good bashing we gave them, they did manage to steal the ball and stole the win. A small bit of comfort will surely be found in Nali Rustbeard's fierce performance tonight: he took out 2 stiffs and Rufio, the vile lycanthrope who killed Nori.”
