“Orc v's Orc games are never pretty at the best of times, but this match was fresh basket of flowers compared to most other orc games. Each team, sharing similar line-ups and tactics put on an impressive performance.
It was a tense game, that the Boyz only managed to grab a draw from in the very last turn thanks to some fluid pass and hand-off link up play.
Unusually there were few injuries dished out, although the apothecary was called out by the the Skruffneks coach to safe an almost mortally wounded player.
The Boyz found the match experience useful, but no-one really learnt that much... except the Boyz coach was pleased that his team was still standing at the end of the match, and that his thrower, Earl Deball would be back for the next game.”
