After a nasty, nasty thrashing vs Synn's Hores we've 10 players for this game vs Ro's new upstarts who have 13, including a +STR beast AND a rotter. How unfair!
They opt to kick since they have so many players and we start well, badly hurting one beasty and KO'ing two on our first turn. We now have 10 vs 8 on the pitch! And we make the most of it, pushing through very slowly and focusing on getting 2d blocks (particularly with our MB and claw), eventually reducing them to just 5 on the pitch though we mess up a last turn touchdown attempt by trying for some more pain. On their final turn of the half they go for a 2d blitz that comes up as double skulls and sees their DP badly hurt!
We get our beast back from the KO box and they get 3/4 beastmen back, but we still have 10 vs 9 at least to begin with.
They push forwards slowly, moving the ball back and forth behind their main line, and trying to keep it by their beast. We try and contain them and try for some more cas/KOs - doing quite well. Eventually they push through and we go for the ball, managing to dislodge it. It bounces around, into and out of both team's hands for a moment, and for a second Burning Sensation rush through with it. But they are alone and are quickly taken down, and our +MA sure hands beast grabs it and makes a run for it. Eventually he runs all the way downfield while we smack and foul any and all of the opposition who could reach him, scoring to win the game on turn 16!
