“Most games involving Necromantic or Undead teams end up as a blood bath. When the two teams face each other, it's all kinds of gore. This game didn't disappoint.

The Undead team received the kickoff in the first half, and start grinding down the field. In the ensuing brawl, the necros lost two position players (a wight and a werewolf) fairly early. After a lot of pushing and shoving, one of the Undead ghouls popped free and was able to make it to the goaline. A couple of bobbled hand-offs later, and an Undead wight ended up scoring.

The Necros received the kick off with a few turns left in the 1st half, but a bad hit on the LOS ended any hopes of them scoring that half. So they played safe and pulled back their position players out of reach.

The 2nd half started off violently. Midway through the top of the 2nd turn, the Undead had 8 players left on the field, the Necros had 10. End of the 2nd turn, it was 7 vs 9. There was a scrum for the ball, with both teams popping it lose and retrieving it. Turn 6 ended with the Undead in possession of the ball on their own half of the field, with 5 players left on the pitch, vs an encircling 9-man necro horde. The Undead team lost the ball on turn 8, but the Necros weren't in a position to score. Game ends, 1-0.

A very well played game, with only two notable bonehead moves on the part of the Undead coach.”
