“This was brutal. A glorious day for the Stoppers, but brutal nonetheless. The demons of Operation Magic didn't stand a chance against our boys, who wiped the floor with the chaos team.
First half started on defense, and the lads quickly tore down the Operation's formation, forcing them into small groups and smacking them down. When the period was halfway through, 4 demons had been carried off the pitch by the medical staff, which left the Stoppers a good deal more room to play. Around that time, Regin got the ball that had been knocked loose, and headed for the end zone. He took us to the lead a few moments before halftime.
When the 2nd half started, it was obvious that the diminished Operation team had been utterly demoralized by the events of the first half. They barely put up a fight, and just lay where they were knocked down, not bothering to get up. Haldan ran home the touchdown, securing a 2-0 lead for the Stoppers. The rest was really just more of the same, with the Operation only putting up nominal resistance much of the time. In the end they did pick up the nerve to keep our boys from scoring a 3rd time, but that hardly made any difference.
What a show indeed... The lads are certainly out of the slump, as should be obvious to any who saw tonight's game. Such strength, such skill, such unity is not often seen anywhere.

Thanks again for the game, Jebe. Nuffle truly favoured the short-n-furry tonight.”
