“Cursehammer came in to their first game in months, as a lack of fan factor threaten to dismantle the team and they were rewarded with a good crowd of 68,000.
Against a fast and agile Sewer Rats team it had promised to be a game of many TDs but unfortunately that never materialised as the pouring rain condition made it hard for both sides in the 1st half to do much with the ball and it ended up as the bloodiest game that Cursehammer has played.
Some crazy amour rolls saw 7 Cas in total in the match with 5 for Curehammer. Despite the numerical advantage for the dark elf team, they were unable to take advantage as they failed pickup ball and quick passes only on rerolls the entire match. Nothing more emphaised than by Samunel Bloodsea the thrower who failed to pickup the ball four times before being blitz by a runner for the second decisive TD.
My hats off to Frankie for being a good sport and sticking to his guns, he did not complain about the injuries and deserved his win and some slice of luck. I had a lot fun with a nice coach and no complaints as it just wasn't Cursehammers day with the ball, with the blocking very impressive.
Good luck Frankie with your team and another rematch on the horizon next time. Take care
“One of the bloodiest games i have played. Turn 1 have to use apo to save my block, claw lino, SI -1 ST. But i got my rematch against Erickan =). Had great fun playing as none of us could pickup the ball or score in the first half. We played the entire game in pouring rain, giving his elf team the advantage, or so you would think. We got nuffled from start to finish. Dont score just kill. That was the theme of this game.
I look forward to a rematch at a later point. Now i have to replace and build up again.
Also this was my 100th game so an important victory for me=)”
