We're up against Aenir's gale force farters; they have just 10 players for this game vs our 12 but do have a rotter, causing Anubis to go green with envy.

We opt to receive to try and cause some early casualties, but start very badly with some early turnovers and poor blocking. They KO two players and charge through after the ball, and we're barely able to stop them from scoring. Eventually our lone beastman in their half badly hurts the beastman facing him, just as we get our +AGI beastman back for the ball. We grab it and pass it upfield in the sun, and without rerolls they aren't able to blitz him over (though hilariously they dodge 3 beastmen away from Anubis' tentacles in one turn.. wake up!). We then manage the dodge and double GFI for a touchdown thanks to a saved reroll.

They have one turn to try and cause some damage... but double skulls sees their rookie beastman blocker KILLED!!

We start the 2nd half with a BLITZ versus just 7 of them (their rotter remains KO'd) - this is going to make things tough for them! They go for a desperate pass upfield to get the ball out of the danger area (with our players streaming through) but can't do it, and from there it's pretty straight forward for us to smack them about. We continue fouling with our DP and get 4 in a row before the ref sends him off (as he MNGs their beast). They are down to just a single beastman on the pitch but despite fouling with our beast on turn 7 (sent off), his -3d blitz coming up a skull vs our mighty blow beasty on their turn 8, and another gang foul on our final turn we just can't clear the pitch!

With the ref lenient on the final foul we run in the TD to win the game 2-0! Good game Aenir!”
