“The Pips took on their fellow elves in an intensive match. The FNUG got the first attempt at offence and used it well. They moved the ball effectively and repelled all Pip attempts at stopping the ball at its tracks. The first touchdown was scored around turn 4.

The Pips tried to go for the equalizer. The FNUG defended very well, but were not able to hold the Pips back in the end. However, the half ended in disappointment for the Pips as during their final turn a Phoenix Warrior, yearning for three SPP points, failed a critical final GFI and fell down. The score was lost and the Pips went to the dugouts behind by one touchdown.

The second half started better as the Pips quickly moved the ball for an equalizing touchdown. The FNUG were unable to stop the more agile Pips. The FNUG had their chance at retaliating. They moved a blitzer to the endzone and got of a pass at him. The pass was slightly off target and the ball scattered away. The Pips swarmed the ball and grabbed it for themselves.

The FNUG were unable to get the ball back as the Pips ran through the field for a 2-1 touchdown. The FNUG had two more turns to score, but were eventually stumped. The Pips went home with the win.”
