“UI V Ash Qualifier Finals
The plan was to get good handicaps, get a 2-0 lead and then see what happens.
The former didn't really went well, the latter all the more.
Handicaps were Palmed Coin (was ok, really wanted the ball first), Extra training, Smelling salts (helped quite a bit with only 11 players ...) and Bad Press (Not the best, but with 2-3 rocks it helped).
The 1-0 went fine (apart from a snake eyes, but could be handled) and with 4 turns left to score I hoped I could use my wizard somewhere. Gunslinger kinda asked for it in the hope that I would fail I think, but in that crucial turn (and actually in the rest of the game too :)) everything worked and went up 2-0 at half time.
Everything was possible at that moment, but a rr used on a pushback led to a failed pick-up and my GRs getting the ball, securing a 3-0. From then on I got a bit sloppy and mainly wanted to protect my players. Got a blitz! that didn't do very much, so went to 3-2, but without a blitz! for Gunslinger I didn't see the chaos draw this. Came kinda close, but went to 4-2 instead.
So a very nice run for my skaven this qualifier, but ended at 185/150 so time for some rebuilding before the main tournament!

Thanks for the game, Gunslinger. See you again.”
