“A bizarro match with the Scourge starting in offence, but allowing the Nightmares to setup a chainpush OOB to send the ball flying over to the other side of the pitch.

The Nightmares snaked a Sure Feet GFI to step on the ball and it went flying back up to the other side of the pitch where the Scourge had more players and they were able to recover the ball and score!

The Nightmares' own drive was made highly difficult thanks to a Blitz and they managed to get the ball to the endzone regardless, but tripped and did not score!!!

In the second half, the Nightmares had a 1 player advantage due to earlier KOs and this soon turned into a carnage as the Nightmares injured and KOd more players. With the numbers so telling, the Nightmares rushed the ball up field for a quick score and lined up in defence against only 4 (?) of the Scourge due to the KOs and injuries.

With so few defenders, the Scourge were able to knock the ball free once but did not have enough players left to stop the Nightmares scoring a second time to win the match.

Topsy turvy luck in this game. The Scourge had the luck of the Blitz and the scattered throw in plus my failed GFI to hold onto a 1-0 lead at half time.

However, in the second half, the Nightmares had insane injury luck and the Scourge had little chance with so few players on the pitch.”
