“Nothing seemed to work out for my poor opponent.

In the beginning he faired quite well, with no men getting injured despite heavy sideline fighting and lots of crowdsurfing. But soon the KO box got crowded (at a time he had 6 men in it!), though Patrick did kill poor Iznir Bonehead on one of my own blocks! I had a feeling that Iznir was going to do something worthwhile, so I saved his sorry ass with some expert medical treatment. Shortly after he returned the favor by killing Patrick, when he got blocked by him! (rather ironic, really!)

Luck was on my side, and my opponent managed to drop the ball and fail his dodges at most of the right times....
I did have my moments (like when Thunder went down on a GFI using sure feet and getting himself Ko'ed!), but it didn't matter, since my opponent failed his 3+ dodge and we got to see some outstanding Hobgoblin passing play!

My opponent played alright, but he really couldn't do much, since his best attempts were busted by his poor luck. I hope for a rematch, when his team has recovered.

My team seems to share the SPP evenly, so the next time I get an MVP, there ought to be a new skill. ”
