The elves didn't seem to have too much trouble in the first half. Both sides traded blows, ending with a few players off the pitch, however, with plenty of reserves, this didn't really help us out. The elves scored took a comfortable touchdown in turn 8.

And then........ with a quick snap, a whole lot of luck, and a defensive setup that helped us as much as it could, the girls did the impossible, and scored a 1-turner to even the score!!!

Let's just say that after all that effort to stall out the first half, the elven coach was not impressed.

Half time score: 1-1

Coming into the second half, both teams still had the full 11 players. Not so good for us. With superior speed, strength, and agility, the elves out-played us completely, collecting the ball in turn 4, and never giving us another decent shot at it once the ball was secure. Despite some rather bold attempts I might add.


Final score: 1-2
