“A brutal and ugly game. The Grunt started off with 1 less Gobbo, but won two Coaching rolls to have an extra RR each half.
Game Ogre used up their apothecary early, with a Skull/Pow causing a self inflcted niggle!
The Grunt tried hard, but were unable to stop a small Goblin cage from advancing the ball up one wing. An attempt to dodge close by the Grunt saw a Gobbo get tackled and cause himself a -AG. The Grunt apothed this, only to have the Gobbo die with a foul immediately afterwards!
Game Ogre scored to take a 1-0 lead just before half time. The Grunt forgot that they had a TTM option to try and level the scores until it was too late.
Second half saw Game Ogre field just 4 Ogres against the Grunt in defence. The ball was dropped and amazingly, Game Ogre was able to pick it up in 2 or 3 TZs and throw the ball downfield!
Both teams chased after the ball, and Game Ogre had a pair of 3+ dodges to score, but failed the second and the ball scattered free!
With no RR left, the Grunt managed to advance the ball downfield with a T16 TTM up their sleeve for an equaliser, but the Ogre boneheaded and no pass was made! Game Ogre finished the game with their Ogre blitzing the ball carrying Gobbo and taking a Skull/Pow to inflict a RIP.
--------------
A very very ugly game. One play, I was so tired, I ran an Ogre across an opposing Gobbo (6+ dodge lol). MNG on an Ogre for me, but two RIPs for my opponent was much worse so I can't complain really.”
