This was the day the beastmen broke.
We didn't stay in a group enough, maybe?
As our numbers fell, we were progressively overwhelmed by... vicious, filthy, ...halflings. Oh my.
"Cries Hate" was able to run in a long touchdown after the kick off, and through til late in the half.
We kept waiting to see trees throw halflings.. but by and large, it didn't happen.
It did happen late in the second half when Stix hurled a halfling at a beastman with stunning accuracy. Which, we must say, was MOST unexpected. Oh how we laughed. We'd love to give that tree some wonderful infections. Really we would.
The halflings equalised in the second half, and left us just enough time to score one last touch down. Which we almost did, honest. It was almost really great. Anyway, it was all great fun and next time we hope to thump a little harder, run a little faster, and infect just a little more, because we like these funny scary lads. What fun.
