“First time playing against halflings and skittled by 'em. Can't say I'm surprised, and to be honest I deserved it. A TZ oversight on my part in the first half really opened the way for them to score almost unopposed, though lots of dodges were needed, and made, in the final reckoning.

The second half seemed to be heading the right direction for the tie (without re-rolls pushing for more appeared to be courting disaster) until the sneaky flings managed a 1d pow on the carrier to push the ball free. Even then the score would have been possible but for the inability to secure the ball on the pickup.

In the end, a defeat I thouroughly deserved. A win that Wittman earned well, too, with the good luck at the right time just reward for solid play and positioning.
