“Obba League Two, Season 6 - Final Round

Handicap for Borgen - Greatest (effectively reducing me to only field 3 CW's and not 4).

This was the decider for league two. In round 6 I had got a forfeit as my oppo was dropping from the league, so I wasn't able to add to any player records etc... but on the other hand I didn't gain any more SPPs which means it will be easier to trim down to TR190 for next season. For Borgen he lost the round 6 game...

His loss and my forfeit meant I was 3 points ahead with a better TD difference. Borgen would need to win, and score 2 or more TDs than me... and ensure that I didn't do more casualties than him.

1st Half - I kicked... the crowd threw a rock and took out a zombie... Borgen then took down the front line of Morg, Borak and my Ogre... sticking in a foul too. With a a few sparring blows the heavily marked Count managed to hand off to a Ghoul who then ran in for the TD. 0-1.

Fortunately I had enough time to get Morg within a gfi to score despite some heavy defending. 1-1.

2nd Half... A bit of a blur for me really, but I systematically took out the undead defence, with a number of undead KOs staying out. Borgen was really up against it, and couldn't stop me going 2-1.

After yet another rock taking out a mummy, the undead then flirted with a counterattack but this was soon quashed. Finally the Count left the field and any hope of an equaliser disappeared.

Was a hard game in the end, but Borgen really needed a lot of luck to overcome the challenge he was set. I think had he not lost his last game it would have been a lot more dramatic. In the end the Watford vs Arsenal rivalry continues for another season... but the important thing for me is that we punished Borgen for his comments about killing my team on his bio and walked away with the league title. looking forward to our next clash where the table could well have turned.
