They had hired a wizard prior to the match, and put him to very good use, taking down 3 players around the ball carrier (which obviously makes a mockery of even a good quality cage). With players available, the girls were able to knock the ball loose and get a bit of a hold on it. Unfortunately, they threw the advantage away, allowing the regulars to get a whole lot of players on the ball carrier.

At that point, it came down to one hell of a lot of luck for Heart Breaka to snatch up a loose ball, and get it to Skull Kruncha, who wasted no time in taking it straight in for a touchdown in turn 6.

Half time score: 1-0

Come the second half, the previously effective armour started to give way. Although we were unable to score a touchdown (or even come close to doing so), we were more than able to stall out the half, ending the match with a 1-0 lead.
