“I knew I was in for a match, when I picked this game. Most of my teamrating was due to me sitting on my cash and lots of evenly distributed non-skill SPP. But I had tackle, and even thouh Urgh often did nothing at critical moments, he had made his casualty quote during his 3 games.

First half was strange. The Amazons allowed Bootleg Bill (who had taken some secret drugs to enhance his ball-handling abilites) to march up the field in his make-shift cage, while they concentrated on beating up my rearguard!

After having failed two blitz moves in a row with the troll (had to reposition him) and having a dwarf badly hurt and some other men stunned, I was forced to score in the 5th down. Thunderhooves managed to get himself stunned after having failed a rerolled GFI, and with that all hopes of stopping the amazon advance was crushed (the ball scattered "right"). The ball scattered badly too on my last drive, ending right beside the frontline in the wrong end. Due to hobgoblin incompetence, it stayed there for the next two turns....

Second half I managed to reposition the bull after a failed GFI by the amazones, and a hobgoblin blitzed his way with bull assistence to the ball. The hobbo got put down, and the ball ended being the object for a great brawl during the rest of the match. I managed to press my opponent into the sidelines and maintained control for the most of the fight. I tried to get one of my other Hobgoblins apart form Bootleg Bill (who managed to SI a catcher!), but they all failed to get the ball. In the end I had to play it safe and let Bootleg grab the ball and run for a TD.
Of other interesting events is Iznir laying down, occupying 4 amazons for several turns due to him not getting up :) Oh, and Kossil gaining the MVP for babysitting the troll for the most of the match. A feat worthy of a MVP!
