“The Bruisers endured a brutal first half, running at one point around T5 at 37% luck to ti pialooo's 73%. Despite this I managed to force a hobgob to score and got the ball on my T5. Good defense made a score look unlikely but I finally got a bit of luck and double-dodged thru tacklezones with a pair of gfi for the equalizer on T8.

The second half was a very different game. Although the CDs got a blitz and a hobgob actually caught the ball, he was left exposed and the Bruisers recovered. Meanwhile the blitz left their LOS shorthanded and the Bruisers capitalized, ko'ing a hobgob, bh'ing one CD Blocker and killing another!

Up players 11-8 the dwarfs took their time and eventually swept cross-field while downblocking and opened a sizable gap between my runner and any opposition. With the game in hand, and runner Kaldreth Foehammer lined up for his second score (which would have given him a skill), buttinho inexplicably conceeded the match! With only 2-3 turns left and plenty of players to scrum with he bailed on the game.
