T16 win on a one-dice blitz (block vs no block). The need for that play summed up the game - tight throughout.

First half the Heads received and in no-time worked an easy scoring position (aided by an early un-apo'ed kill - which proved crucial later from numbers balancing purposes as the Heads recruited poor Ulak as a result). A mistake in moving a zombie lead to no chance for a 2d block in T6, and so I took the decision to score.

Second half the Boyz played better - fortune favouring them (pickup in a TZ in the rain) helped but their positioning made running in the score easy once the ball was secured. However scoring relatively early left time for the Heads to grab a winner. Despite good pressure on the ball (a blitz forcing a drop in the Head's backfield) Nuffle favoured the rotting Bellowheads and a T7 risky move (dodge, pickup in TZ, dodge out, pass) secured a scoring position with a turn to go.

The Boyz tried valliantly to make the saving block but despite showing good agility (dodge success) their blitzer tripped over his feet at the crucial moment and left a higher percentage scoring move on the cards than would have been otherwise.

Good game, Buglecut - was fun and well matched.

#12 Ulak – Dead (RIP)
Yes, a good Game indeed.
The kill mentioned was in t1, and on a 0-SP Lineman.
To let him die only a few Turns later saved my Block Dodge Blitzer from a niggle. The Lineman after the Game was replaced by Blitzer Number 4.
So from then on there was no apo and the Claw to be feared.
While he stalled the Ball I was able to gather players for a foul on it,
and the second try then indeed sent the dreaded beast out.
All in all a hard match, and some nice plays..
Congratulations to your Victory.
