#5 Cherrypicking – Dead (RIP) #14 Gimp – Dead (RIP)
“Necro vs necro match. Both Theofold's wolves look nasty (block/tackle and block/MB) - this could be tough.
They start well, MNGing one zombie and KO'ing another on the LOS on their first turn before running the ball up one side in a wolf's hands to score with him on turn 3 when we fail to blitz him down.
We receive and things start going badly for us- as they KILL a zombie (and raise him), KILL a ghoul with a rookie zombie the next turn, and then on the first foul of the game we see a zombie sent off!
We push forwards and eventually manage to score on the very last turn with some luck. We have just 8 players now for the 2nd half though... so could be very nasty for us. But a good first turn, KO'ing a wight and niggling (regen) a zombie means there's just 9 of them to defend against us now. Turn 2 sees their flesh golem badly hurt (regen) and their DP KO'd so we've now got more players than them on the pitch! We then push on forwards, removing both their wolves (KO and badly hurt), to score on our last turn and secure the win.
Good game Theofold!”
