To clarify: I had both a alot of luck and several close games last season, with at the start 3-4 teams that could easily have dominated the rest.
If you had spent your cash in previous games to avoid dropping points instead of gambling all on hiring your way to some super-cas fest it would be extremely close still. :p
Edit 2: "I didn't need to spend against Unstoffe and it was only jam that drew it." - That you drew against him (that were reasonably close to your TR) suggests you should have improved your odds with at least a wiz doesn't it? :)
My point is, if you had won all your games coming into this, I could still easily drop a few points and you take the title, even with a tough game vs rij next.

But in WIL? It is dull. My team gets 2 perms and 2 mng (so I will lose and die to rijs) and Brit gets away with no perms despite being hit 21 times with double claw.
So Brit wins the league again and his uber team marches on unchecked.

I was more concerned about the rip and niggle on my CW plus 2 more mng which means that rijs will beat me and take me out of contention. I didn't need to spend against Unstoffe and it was only jam that drew it.
