“Our gobbos are up against Moesis' khemri, who get one handicap of buzzing on a mummy. This could be very painful!

We opt to receive and they roll up a perfect defence to pile in the mummies. We're forced to go for a 1d rookie gobbo block to open up a few 2d blocks, but fortunately it works, and we rush the ball to one side. They knock over our ball carrier, but luckily we're able to regrab the ball and then get through and mostly out of range of the slow khemri. We focus our hits, with trolls going for skeletons (and getting a few KOs), while our block gobbo Gimp blitzes a blitz-ra out of the stands and then he (and a pile of friends) defend the backfield where their other blitz-ra is trying to get the ball. Eventually on turn 7 Gimp's blitz KILLS the roving blitz-ra - no regen!

At this the Khemri coach decides to throw in the towel and retires in tears as our gobbos go crazy celebrating an unlikely win and piles of cash!!!”
