“Have rarley seen as much bad dice rolling as Pand and I did mid way through second half, priceless moments of failure.
Same old story in the first half, I swear its an impossible task stopping orcs from scoring, and score they did, with ease. We failed to get anywhere with our attempt in the first half.
We did find some kind of way of getting to thier EZ in the second but trying to stop them while outnumbered was an uphill struggle.
That is untill the dice decided to have a bit of fun. Several turns of failing even the simplest of dice rolls ensued, it was just enough to put the orcs off. A failed GFI on the score line may of put the game down as a very lucky draw for us. Not to be, in a moment of what seemed like clarity our thrower hail-maryied the ball as far down field as what looked like safe. Now, in the dying seconds of the game the dice turned on their heads and behaved. Allowing the orcs to acheive a pickup, GFI, pass, catch (which failed to hit the intended reciever but still eneding up being caught by a different orc), dodge, GFI, and a handoff to score.
To add insult to injuries, we failed to raise the 20k we needed to buy a blitzer and having had two of our remaining blitzers out for the next game, next match is going to be a afarce.
Still its all in a days gaming for BB. ”
