“With Leech so intent on snacking - a slight step up from the team's first game where he spent most of his time KO'd - the Suckers were always likely to struggle. That they scored at all was a minor miracle, as Mol forgot to factor in the Troll's unerring skill at goblin pitching.
The only high point of note for the Suckers was when a goblin tripped over his own feet going for a score at the end of the first half, it looked a serious injury, but the apothecary came to his rescue. (I had thought it a failed dodge, but the lack of cas spp clearly point to it being a failed GFI so no CAS for me).
Playing gobbos when the team lacks tackle is not a nice proposition, and very few little green'uns ever hit the pitch. Thankfully they couldn't fully take advantage of getting the ref, and so all the thralls will be healthy for the next match.
Edited to say: Sammler_der_Seelen was a joy to play against, chatty and friendly throughout. Good game!”
