“The thrown rock in the opening set the tone for the game, KOing one of the elven lineman. It was all downhill from there. RhYn0 made a valiant effort to fight back shorthanded, as elf after elf was marched off the field on a stretcher (or in one case, several trash bags). The elves managed to pull plays out of the "5 on 11 Playbook for Desperate Coaches" with unskilled passers completing long bombs, and blodgers making heroic solo romps to the end zone, shrugging off incompetent tacklers left and right and bashing their own paths clear through the gutter runners sent to slow them down.

I'd like to put in my own vote for the Raging Phoenix MVP of the game. Rasonlold Archershoot (HE thrower) didn't do much of anything all game, and I think that Allaes Daycat did himself a helluva job making 2 TDs to give the high elves a real shot to win it until a T15 fumble of a long bomb attempt allowed the Consonants to recover and reverse the ball out of reach for the winner.
