After a defense, I was rather proud of myself (apart from none of the skeletons ever failing an armor check), I had the ball with a bull, and was planning to run the ball, blitzing the other bull out of my TZ in order to score in my next turn. But what happened, the bull failed his GFI with reroll and my turn ended abruptly.

During the undead's 8th down, they managed to badly hurt my troll (who regenerated), kill a dwarf (who got apo'ed), make 2 GFI with a Thro-Ra, who got the ball, made a long pass to a skeleton, who caught it, all without the use of team rerolls!!! I was in a state of shock, but my opponent managed to pull me back from the brink.

During the next half, it even got worse. The troll went stupid three times in a row (with assists, mind you!), and spent most of the half stupid for one reason or the other. The few blocks it got, it managed to do absolutely nothing.

My one bull went down on yet another GFI with reroll, and the ball was kicked (without kick skill) near the wrong part (where my men wasn't) of the front line.

The undeads continued to demolish my team, stunning and maiming my dwarves at will. They almost managed to get the ball, due to my ability to fail GFI's and roll doubleskulls on block. Fortunately I finally got some luck, and I managed to get the ball on a bull, who ran for the endzone. A mummy went to the rescue, but most of his teammates were tied up by my understrength team. The last rounds ended with me finally getting a bull to make his GFI's to give the ball carrier a 1D blitz against the mummy, pushing it back and running for the TD. My opponent tried yet another long passing play, but the dice failed him, and I got the ball back for a draw.

My opponent was very sporting, referring from pushing or fouling people out when he saw no point in it. The game was interesting, though I didn't think I could do very much. Well played. ”
