“A closer game than the scoreline indicates.

The Picnic got the first drive, and advanced, only to have Dwarves corner most players. 8-9 dodges later, some 3+ and 4+, and the Picnic were spread around the field nicely. Not one fail. It was a sight to see, and I doubt I'll see such dodging again.

DC put the pressure on with some hard hitting, and we had to take the score in turn 3. 1-0.

DC pushed up the field, caging well. A few 1-die leap blitzes didn't come off, so we tried a 2-die against and got the dice. The ball spilled badly and we couldn't capitalise, but DC couldn't regroup. 1-0 first half.

Second half and DC pressed forward again, being more careful with placement this time. However, a Bull tripped and this gave us a chance at the ball carrier. Brittany grabbed the ball, passed to Today Tonight II, and it was over. 2-0. DC tried for the consolation score and injury, but it didn't come off.

Great game DC, lots of fun.
