“Our gobbos, having forced a khemri team into conceding/retiring before half time last game, are up against khemri again! This time we have a fuller team AND a chainsaw- bring it on!

They get a single handicap of extra training as we kick. They secure the ball as we spend two turns (and RRs) trying to start up the chainsaw. The two teams meet in the middle as we struggle to hurt anything with the saw and eventually use our apo to save him from a niggle on turn 4. The following turn a mummy KILLS one of our gobbos! We have made it difficult for their thro-ra to advance though, and eventually we knock him over with a swarm of gobbos and steal the ball. They go for damage rather than really trying to stop us scoring, managing to KO nobbla and our block-troll. We score on turn 8 and both wake up (vs neither their skelly or mummy) AND nobbla isn't sent off! Result!

They kick to us and our first turn is excellent as we MNG two skellies and KO the third one on the LOS. 11 vs 8 and our chainsaw is now running! The khemri decide that discretion is the better part of valor as they retreat en masse away from our scary looking goblins. We charge forwards with the saw trying to cause some damage and the khemri fight back, but not in brave head to head fashion, instead they run away from the ball and most of our team, picking on a lone goblin on the far side. Eventually with the win secure we charge in with Nobbla, and saw down a few mummies (repeated stuns) and get in some fouls for good measure. The khemri coach takes this very personally (should we have let them run away? no!) and at last fights back, managing a couple more badly hurts (including Nobbla). We decline to score as the win is in the bag and we don't want to put 3 players on the line for a 4-mummy bashathon in T16.
