“The Cadavers snuck Ramtut onto the pitch and he proved to be a nightmare for the Mighty Green Team who boasted 3 Str5 players.

The Green Team started in offence and the Cadavers did not do much to stop them from scoring and the Green Team got an early TD lead.

This played into the Cadavers hands even though they suffered a Blitz! as they had a long drive to reply and they took their time to score, using up the opposing apothecary with a foul, and then removing the only tackler on the Green Team with another foul (-1 AG), and also killing a Str5 BOB with a block from Ramtut.

In the second half, the Cadavers started in offence and again controlled the ball tightly. Both teams played the man rather than the ball, with the Cadavers having their rookie Wolf maimed (niggled) and a rookie Ghoul killed with fouls.

Although the Cadavers were outnumbered, they had good field position and the Green Team without their apothecary were wary of being maimed by Ramtut. The Cadavers tried to hand off to a 5 SPP Zombie late in the drive but failed the hand off, and in the end let a Ghoul pick up the ball to secure the win as it was too risky to try again with the Zombie.

A nasty game with lots of permanent injuries and very little cash to replace those killed/maimed. This match cost the Cadavers 230K - 40K winnings, less Ramtut, a Wolf and a Ghoul!”
