“The Nightmares started in offence, and hurried up one side, scoring a quick TD after being cramped on one sideline with a Str4 Blitzer threatening a 3+ dodge to blitz the Nightmares Bull with the ball.

In defence, the Nightmares managed to hold off the Orcs, thanks to an OOB and a KO.

In the second half, the Orcs started in offence only to be Blitzed! The Nightmares recovered the ball then lost it. Both sides fought hard for the ball, but eventually, the Nightmares got both the ball and a numerical advantage as they cas fouled one player, and cas blocked another. With both teams having one player KO, the Nightmares had a 10 to 8 player advantage and were able to run the ball forwards and hand off to their Bull to seal a 2-0 result.

My luck was decent today and my opponent had a couple of crappy rolls, but he was not helped by eg not seeing a dodge across a tackle zone and losing both a reroll and his turn suddenly.

Blitz helped lots and it was nice to skill up my Bull in his first outing.”
