“It's a real shame the replay is scrambled - this was a tense, nervy and very long (thanks to connection issues) game, which I thought was all over for the High Elves at the end of the first half, were a chance at a TD, thanks to some 1's, turned into a nightmare with several KO's and a long, long pass to a ghoul for the equaliser. With only 7 or 8 players (one out of 5 KO's returned) to defend what I thought would be an 8-turn cage for an Undead win, it was looking bleak, but a failed GFI let Donovian Starcrest slip through a throng of Undead players, to sack the ghoul with the ball, pick up, and run in for the score. This also allowed reinforcements to return from their slumbers, and the Elves managed to steal the ball a second time to take an unassailable 3-1 lead. They just stayed out of trouble for the last TD, by the Tomblords. This was the last game of team captain Eredrin Whitelance, who retired and handed over the armband to Donovian Starcrest at the end of the game.”
