“Outlucked AND outplayed, so I deserved to lose this.

My opponent played a top game whereas I made at least 2 major gaffes and then had cruddy dice (46 to 67 luck in the first half) to ruin my chances.

Firstly, I someone didn't see that I had run my Str4 Runner to within 2 GFI Blitz range. Probably cos I was asleep until 5 minutes before the match so can only blame myself for that one. He got a crucial KO on me.

Then when I managed to recover the ball, I tried a 3+ hand off without RR to Zara when I held the ball with Zara. I should have just kept the ball, ride the blitz (opponent had no Blodger) and then try to advance the ball the next turn.

Instead I lost the ball (fireball as well helped) and my opponent had no problems with ball handling (I failed 2 from 3 rolls that turn for 3+ and he made 2 from 2 I think the next turn) and I was in the hole 0-1 on my half.

Second half, opponent started with the ball, and I got sent off with my first foul (though I managed to not get sent off first half once when the Eye was on my, but both my fouls didn't penetrate armour) and it was 10 on 10 (I got a KO). Then my cruddy rolls continued to make it a challenge whilst my opponent had the advantage of more Str and more Guard and more pace on the pitch (vs my Frenzy x2 and Dauntless x3) and I couldn't do much.

TD for me at the end was a token score well after the match was decided.

Anyways, congrats to JD, he deserved the win even with my cruddy dice as he played excellently and I made the two errors that might have changed the outcome of the match.”
