“A totally bizarre game. The Nightmares started in offence, but faced a Perfect Defence on a short kick. They were then shafted for the half by the dice, with their DP getting sent off on his first foul and failing to stun with +5 and then countless double skulls, skull/pows and snakes on GFIs to stop them from scoring. On the other hand the Skullz were doing one dice Pows...
At the end of the first half it was 44 to 61 luck against and very frustrating.
In the second half, the Skullz started in offence and brought the ball too far forwards and the Nightmares blitzed the ball carrier with 2 dice and flattened him. The Nightmares sent the ball carrier towards the sidelines instead of away and the ball went out of bounds and back behind the Skullz LOS.
This could have cost the Nightmares a TD, but instead it resulted in their own TD when the Skullz pass was intercepted (he needed a 4+ pass and 3+ catch with no reroll)!
The Nightmares were able to protect the ball and waddle it into the endzone to steal a victory.

First half was a total shafting by the dice, 44 luck and all rerolls gone after 3 turns.... opponent gave me a chance to set up a score, but of course, I snaked the Sure Feet GFI to get into scoring range - opponent would have needed 2 GFI to 1 dice Blitz me (needing 5+) and if we were both still standing, I only needed a 3+ (push) to score.
Second half was a dogged affair, with my opponent giving me a crack at his ball carrier, and then me intercepting in a tight spot. Luck favoured me there for sure.”
