“Almost back to full strength with the team, still missing the Black Orc blocker that niggled early on in the teams' career. This game marks a 'coming of age' though, as the passing game I try and play finally showed signs of being better than disastrous. Need to work on the catching mind.
The Rotters made little headway all game with the ball, and most of the time seemed intent on causing as much damage as possible to the Orcs. Fair enough, as I figured I'd return the favour. Both teams had good luck, some more than others, but the deciding factor was Mighty Blow, and #11 Reliant Scimitars' 10spp 3 Cas 1 TD 1 CP performance. Whatever he blocked basically folded like paper, and the Rotters were well down in numbers from the start of the game onwards. Basically the orcs pretty much kicked the Rotters face in.
Their turn 8 foul was no surprise - given it was 1-0 at that point maybe they'd even the odds a little. The attempted t16 foul was unsporting though - thankfully the coach screwed it up. No bad blood from me - I got good money, 2 skill ups, +FF and took the Orcs to played 4, won 4, scored 13, zero scored against and finally managed to get back to even casualties, rather than in the negatives.
I still think I play like Elves when I should be looking to hurt teams more, (scored 12TD in last 4 games, none scored against) and my teams tend to get the stuffing kicked out of them as a result. Not this time though, glad to say, but I blew the cash on a RR rather than an apothecary or Black Orc Blocker. Oops.
Thx for the game.”
