“Kondor crossed the pitch and met coach Simulacrum at mid field to compliment him for the well played match. Something was fishy about this team. They had been accepted to the league as lizardmen, but these did not look much like lizards or men. They stood somewhat upright and were covered with scales, so this may have simply been the closest the commissioner could come to a classification.

For The Horned Rat Patrol, this was their first outing in La Ratistance. What an outing it turned into. Kondor still had no idea how no rats suffered damaging injury as the were battered and pushed around all match. Armor often cracked but most of the time the rats were simply stunned and once in a while sent to the KO. The apothecary did not even have to go to work until the second half, and that was an amazing feat considering the pair of genestealers that could block and tackle as well as any dwarf.

During the match there were several highlights. The first was when Lightning went crowd surfing only to be bashed about by the crowd. (He will never be the same again. Much weaker.)

Then the bugs scurried free to score an improbable TD with flash working around a tackling blitzer to pick up the ball, dodge between players and go for the score.

Not to be outdone, Mighty Mouse later dodged between a pair of genestealers to pick up a loose ball an throw it to Henchrat who had risked his life dodging to the endzone where he awaited the pass to clinch the win.
