Before I say anything else, this match was scary. We came in short by 99 points of TR, and 71 points of TS. Not only that, but we just lost our only ST4 player. Things certainly ddin't look good.
They got even worse when the match started with perfect defence - suddenly we were stuck with hopeless blocks, and became surrounded right from the start. It was all we could do to dodge, run, and dodge some more.
After finsing themselves with the ball near the end zone, the girls got a bit cocky at some point. Definitely a mistake. In the end, the ball stayed on the ground, and no one scored.
Half time score: 0-0
With 4 players down from a pitch invasion (those woodies have some nasty fans), the chaos were able to secure the ball, and got a good surround on our remaining players. From there, things got a little messy. We did what we could, but there was no stopping Rainbow Warrior, and once the WDR caged up, that was it.
Final score: 1-0

3 pts: Rainbow Warrior
Definitely a key player for WDR. Unlike most of the team, this guy has much needed speed and agility.
2 pts: Whoberry
2 blocks, 2 cas, 2 votes. Nothing more to say.
1 pt: Neil George Wallington
Made the all important blitz on the ball carrier in the first half, opening up the opportinuty to deny us a touchdown.”
