“Opponent started in defence in the rain and forced the Nightmares to score quickly. A Blitz! on the return kick off saw the Nightmares stop a reply. A 2-0 result was possible if the Nightmares had not gone for an extra 1 dice block that came up Skull, and Skull again freeing up a Chaos player to blitz.
Opponent complained about the luck, but really it wasn't that bad considering it could have been 0-2 down, and he also had the great luck of fouling my Bull Centaur with only 2 players and the DP to get a SI Niggle that the apoth failed to save.
Second half, it was all Chaos as they started with 11 vs 9 players and got another SI from a foul, this time on the Troll who failed to Regen.
Then it was 9 against 11 again, and a deep kick put the ball into the end zone. The Nightmares kept the ball back, and then went for the possible match winning play... a 2+ Quick Pass to the Bull Centaur in the middle who needed a 5+ with a reroll (so 56% chance) to make a catch and then run 9 forwards.
However, the ball was dropped. Then the Chaos had another lucky break when a player was pushed onto the ball and it scattered perfectly, for him from 3? TZs to 0. He made the 4+ pick up and the 3+ hand off without any problems.
The Nightmares used chain pushes to free up two Hobbos to blitz the Beastman. Could only manage a Skull/Pow and he got up, 2+ dodged, 3+ pick up, and 2+ dodge, 2+ GFI to win the match.
The Nightmares did a T16 foul to even up the foul count but didn't do any damage.

Well opponent had the most luck when it counted, as he got a turnover score. He called me a noob and I called him a lucker. FUMBBL at its finest!”
“I called him a noob because im' noot so good to say what i really think.
