“HOT GOBBO vs GOBBO ACTION! We're up against Yuri_levich's fairly new goblins! Amazingly neither team has Nobbla. They get 2 handicaps- bad press and knuckledusters- not too bad. 12 players on each side- injuries are going to be key here!

We opt to receive and our first move sees our blitzing troll badly hurt a goblin- good boy! However we fail to pick up the ball and an enemy troll seizes a gobbo and hurls him downfield to stand over it! We're able to blitz him over but fail the pickup a 2nd time! They rush in 4 goblins now and push us away and then grab the ball with their +MA gobbo. However their cas box is really filling up as we KILL their knuckledustered gobbo and then pick both-down vs the ball carrier resulting in a double BH!!

They aren't flustered though, and despite having just 5 gobbos and both their trolls isolated and failing stupid rolls- they dodge through to score against the odds!

With the heat it's 9 vs 7 for the last few turns, and for the third time we fail a pickup WITH reroll! Argh! They rush in and steal the ball from right under our noses again! We're able to stop them in their tracks (KILLING another gobbo!) but we just can't pick up that ball! We have a last-turn TTM attempt planned but once again fail the pickup.. that's the whole half without holding the ball for even a second!!

We're kicking for the 2nd half vs 2 trolls and just 4 gobbos with a full team of 11. If they manage to TTM on turn 1 we'll be in trouble I think. The kick is kind to them, the goblin ready to be airborne catches the ball... but the troll who has to toss him fails his stupid roll! We rush everyone in and despite some excellent play by the Green Fruit goblins, we're able to steal the ball and then run it upfield to score on turn 4!

1-1 and 4 turns left each. We set up 9 vs 6 as we kick again. Our kick goes deep- right into their endzone. They badly hurt our star troll (no regen) and then pick both-down with their other troll to KO a gobbo. Our remaining troll tosses a gobbo downfield - where he lands on their receiver! Neither goblin is hurt so ours stands up, grabs the ball and GFIs twice to score a 1-turn kicking touchdown!!! A first for the team!!

We set up 7 gobbos (cos of heat) vs just 1 troll + 2 gobbos for the last couple turns, but more great defending by them sees us unable to get the ball to make it 3-1.

Very entertaining game and well played Yuri_levich! You were outnumbered right from the start but never stopped attacking :D”
