“A good, yet frustrating game. The MIners grinded down the field in the 1st half, yet despite dominating the drive for the most part, had the ball knocked away near the endzone. a few bounces later, the ball was laying near mid-field and closer to the Runaways than any Miner. Suddenly, and Orc blitzer is dashing towards the EZ with no dwarf even close.
Fortunately for me (and unfortunately for my opponent), the blitzer tripped over the EZ line to end the half (had to GFI 2 times. 1rr3, 1) The Miners dodged a bullet there
Then in the 2nd half, with the ball laying in deep in the Miners backfield, but with dwarves all around that could get to the ball, I try a 1db (with a rr) with my slayer that was in danger of getting pushed out of bounds...skull rr skull. An Orc lineman broke free and passed the ball to the waiting goblin in the EZ...The goblin would pay for scoring later with a nasty blow to the head :)
Luckily for the MIners, there was enough time to slowly march our way down the field and score on turn 8 to tie the game (I delayed the TD one turn (two if you count not gfi'ing twice on turn 6))
“Falling at the line to the endzone with all odds on your side is more or less a duty for a true blood bowl team. It shows that yor fans have the right attitude to the game and throws a bottle or two on you when you're about to ashieve any kind of success. Thanx to my fans!!”
