“XFL Skaven IV - Round One

Well, Skavenblight Fury started their season late in their opening game in the Skaven XFL against G_Force’s Ewww Stinky Rats (A fellow member of La Ratsistance). From turn one where we killed his claw/RSC monster (Apo saved), then BH’ed him on the next foul, the dice were firmly on one side. Early on our Monster Storm Vermin register our first permakill of the season (2.5+34=36.5/2=18 points), and as numbers dwindled the Fury stalled tha half out, picking off injury after injury. Just before the end of the half, Nice Boy killed Fuel for Life (2.5+22=24.5/2=12 points), and Nevermind gangfouled Opium to a niggle (4.5+64=68.5/2=34 points).

A score in turn eight put the Fury 1-0 up, and the second half saw a slow pound towards a 3-0 win, with a couple more badly hurt players. The Fury used their apothecary on a niggle to one of their dirty linerats believing it was too late to need to save his healing work. By now the Fury were cruising and farming skill points, whilst the luck stayed firmly on their side. The game wound up quickly with many Stinky Rats simply refusing to return from being knocked out despite the smelling salts provided.

A tough game for G_Force, very one sided and a tough match up for him from the start. He took it well and didn’t whine once despite everything we tried working and everything he tried double one’ing. Onwards ratties!!!
