“What a completely insane match. The first half starts with the lizards having problems picking up the ball, after which the rats do pick it up and try a semi-risky pass into the lizard End Zone - Thrower Massimo Mozzarella's lobbed attempt is intercepted by a smelly little Skink!

The lizards pound the rats to the ground while slowly advancing to score at the end of the half. Rookie Gutter Runner Monty McWensleydale is almost killed, only to be saved by the apothecary.

The second half starts with a flawless two-turn touchdown by the Rodents. Mozzarella finds a wide-open Chuck E Cheeze who easily saunters into the End Zone for a score.

Then the so-called "fun" begins. The lizards begin to systematically grind the rats to dust - star Storm Vermin Chuck E Cheeze, who earlier in the match has accounted for two casualties and a touchdown, is pushed into the crowd and given a niggling injury. Another rat is badly hurt, and the KO box is suddenly full of unconscious rats. The remaining five Rodents on the field look like they've given up and just run away - the lizards, drunk with imminent victory, decide to pull a little showoff passing stunt just before the End Zone...

Disaster for the lizards. The pass sails out of bounds, the crowd throws the ball back - all the way up to the midfield line, where the rats were cowering in fear! The Rodents can't believe their luck and with no lizard within miles from them they easily pick up the ball and score the winning touchdown. An amazingly weird end to an amazingly weird match.”
