“SWL Season XXIX - Premier League XXIX - Round 6

The handicaps didn't exactly help us out this match, but who's going to complain when you're up against pansy elves instead of the monster chaos team we faced last week!

The elves got greedy seeing a loose ball, and we were able to secure it fairly effectively. The sidesteppers were the main problem for us, but, with some sneaky play, we were able to get a numerical advantage, and pressed it all the way. Despite a valiant effort on defence, we managed a touchdown in turn 8.

Unfortunately, the tables turns, when the ref called for injury time, and the elves were able to do what they do best, escaping with a quick 2-turn touchdown to close up half-time.

Half time score: 1-1

Worry III went for a quick tochdown, thinking that he was out of range. I guess he didn't count on Arm Breaka catching up, knocking him down, and sweeping up the ball all in a single move. By a long way, that was the most important move of the match for the girls, as it let us secure the ball, and have a shot at a second touchdown.

We were able to move up the field fairly quicky, which was lucky, as the clock ran down just as fast. Timing things perfectly, Eye Likka was able to run the ball into the end zone right on the buzzer.

Just 3 blocks for the match, but they all counted. One was to knock down the ball carrier, another was a similar attempt, and the third was to free up Shake III so that he could score the touchdown.

Knocked down the ball carrier, almost turning the match in the High Elves favour. I should also point out that he was particularly annoying because of the tackle/side-step combination.
