“Chaos Curse chose to receive but it was the Dwarven Danglers that had the advantage on the line. They came out really aggressive and managed to stun several Chaos players. This left the Wishmaster's team trying to recover for almost half of the first period. With Chaos players assigned to guard the ball the Dwarves proved to be at the very least up to the task of fighting off the remaining players. Janos tried to dodge away from a Dwarf but was tripped up and almost died if it wasn't for the team's Apothecary coming in to save him.
The Apothecary used so early in only the second turn of the first half. A few turns later, Kullz was killed by the Dwarf Blitzer, Bringer. There was nothing CC could do but watch the Beastman's lifeblood spill out in midfield.
Kullz's sacrifice was not in vain as Ulrik was able to keep dodging away from several relentless Dwarves chasing after him. A single Dwarf stood in his way but he managed to free himself up and score right as the first half ended.
The second half began with the DD receiving. The Danglers grabbed the ball for appearances sake and then the battle began. Both teams were going back and forth until finally CC began to gain the edge. Nevertheless, the Chaos forces were unable to knock the ball loose from the very sure handed Dwarf Runner, Dimer (14 dice used in 3 turns). Dimer was under so much pressure that he tried to pass the ball to Bringer who dropped the ball ending their chances of tying the game.
