Some poor defensive positioning then allowed the amazons to execute a hand-off/pass combo that led to Lynx scoring a quick equaliser.

Neither side could hold on to the ball for long enough to score before half time, and play resumed after the break with the elves out-numbered nine to eleven. The amazons made the most of that advantage, shielding the ball for long enough to set up a three turn rushing TD.

With a draw still there for the taking, the elves tried to compensate for numbers with superior agility. Sadly, Rock wasn't agile enough to avoid getting killed by Lynn, nor was Foxtrot able to dance into a second scoring position, and the elves were relieved of the ball within rushing distance of the Wildcats' endzone.

Sensing a chance to make up for the mistakes of her last match, Searles grabbed the ball and attempted to pass it up the field. Once again, the ball slipped from her fingers... Fortunately, no elves were close enough to the endzone to threaten a last minute equaliser!
