“The Wishmaster was glad to get away with a tie in this matchup. It could have easily been another loss. The Lizardmen team, Bompi, received and basically just ran up the left side of the field. Their ball carrier was well protected that he was not hit at all on the way to the end zone for a quick two turner.

Paragon of Malevolence received and Darkstorn was the QB in the backfield. Just bidding their time until someone got open but the Lizardmen covered the receivers very well. They were being pinned down by the Kroxigor, Knuckles. With time running out, Darkstorn tried to pass the ball but fell just as he was about to throw it (double 1's on gfi). Two Sauruses converged on the ball around the fallen Dark Elf. Luckily Darkstorn was able to knock Sakkara down with a block. This freed up Cyric who dodged away, picked up the ball in a tackle zone, dodged away again and threw a short pass to Malikith who made it into the end zone (2+, 3+, 2+, 3+, 2+, 2+, 2+) as time ran out.

The second half started with PoM receiving. The Wishmaster made a mistake and didn't have his team pick up the ball while the speedy skink Stinking Stunk Skink rushed towards it. PoM was able to recover somewhat but Darkstorn once again failed to make the pass tripping over himself and fumbling the ball (double 1's on gfi's). At that point, Stinking Stunk Skink just picked up the ball and ran it in.

PoM received one last time. This time they outnumbered Bompi, 11 versus 9. Coach Spathii said matter of factly, "I don't think I'll be able to stop your next touchdown." He turned out to be correct but his team put out a commendable effort making life tough for the Dark Elves. Darkstorn was trapped by a Saurus and so it came down to a (2+ roll, no rr) handoff to Malikith. The Witch Lord secured the ball and ran in the touchdown to tie the game.
